New Greensleeves Spindle

in Drop Spindles

This weekend, my local yarn store hosted a trunk show for Greensleeves Spindles. Although several of the spindles were calling out to me, I ended up settling on just one - a lightweight Loki made of chechen and purpleheart, with a walnut shaft. It’s a beauty.

I’ve already tried it out on a merino/silk blend that I had in my stash. It seems to spin very well - it’s fairly stable for a lightweight spindle.

If you’re in the market for a Greensleeves spindle, go to Kendig Cottage’s eBay store. They seem to have more varieties of Greensleeves spindles than any other place I’ve found online.
